Mike has lead and equipped Saints for technical ministry for more than 30 years. During that
time he has served on several church staffs as Technical Director and has also worked
professionally in audio, video production, lighting, graphics and systems design, integration,
His experience with ProPresenter began with version 1.0 and has ranged from simple
installations to multi-screen environmental presentations and full midi-controlled automated
Ableton – ProPresenter and Lighting rigs.
Mike has been called “a party of one”. He takes what he does seriously but never takes
himself seriously. Having the heart of a teacher, Mike enjoys seeing the lights come on.
He says depending on the situation he can use either his left brained technical skills, or his
right brained creative skills – but either way you only get a “half a brain” solution.
While everyone strives to avoid distractions in worship presentation, Mike has found ways to
positively provide traction when technically supporting and enabling worship.
Mike received his undergraduate degree in Telecommunications from the University of
Louisville and a Masters of Communication from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He and his wife Lori live in Lewisville, North Carolina
