Dr. Joshua A. Waggener serves as Assistant Professor of Music and Christian Worship at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and The College at Southeastern. He teaches classes on the history and theology of Christian worship while directing music ensembles and coordinating programs in worship ministry and leadership at Southeastern. He is currently the Vice President for The Society for Christian Scholarship in Music and active in the Biblical Worship section of the Evangelical Theological Society. He loves to lead rich theological hymns old and new at Grace Baptist Church in Wake Forest, NC, where he serves as an Elder and Minister of Music.
