FAQs

If I can only attend one day, what is the cost?

We have made this conference to be very affordable for the the vast array of excellent instruction that will be received. The cost is the same for the full conference registration whether or not you take advantage of one or two days of training. The only other options are the choir and orchestra retreats that do not have access to the vast array of break out sessions offered either day.

What publishers will be at the Friday afternoon choral reading sessions?

  • Brentwood-Benson
  • Daywind
  • Lifeway
  • LifeWay Worship
  • Lillenas
  • Word
  • Celebrating Grace

The sessions will be held 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Who can attend the Choral Reading Sessions on Friday Afternoon?

The reading sessions may be attended by anyone with a full registration or those who are part of the two retreats. While several people from one church may attend, packets of free music from the publishers will be provided to no more than two people per church unless there are additional packets left over. You should reserve your place at the time of registration. You may also contact us if you did not do so to let us know you would like to attend.

Who can attend the Friday evening session with Terry Williams?

Anyone attending the main conference or one of the retreats may attend the evening session with Terry Williams.

What classes are intended for the Worship Leaders/Planners track?

This group has the greatest flexibility.

On Friday afternoon, you can choose to go to the choral music reading sessions with five publishers. Friday evening is a great time with Mike Harland.

On Saturday, there are three breakout classes. Look over the numerous offerings and choose those that will best meet your needs. You might want to sit in on one of Sheri Gould’s vocal classes, attend a session of the choir or orchestra retreats, check out some technologies that will help your church, and so much more!

Will the EXPO be offered next year?

We are committed to offering this type of event next year as long as the support for the event this year warrants it. We will be alternating locations east and west each year.

What hotels do you recommend?

Apex and the greater Raleigh-Durham area has many fine hotels. Check out the section on our website for any hotels with special conference rates as well as a listing of many hotels in the area.

How do I find Saturday's schedule? All I see is the Friday schedule on the website.

Just click on Saturday’s date button at the top and the day’s schedule will show. Be sure to click LOAD MORE to see additional classes. Also, you can select a specific track to see appropriate classes for that track.

Are children allowed?

Due to the expected numbers for this event, we ask that you not bring your children to this event unless they are older children and purchase a registration to participate in classes.
